Spot

Meet Spot, an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who's a bundle of joy and enthusiasm! He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring his big personality and boundless energy into your life. Spot is an outgoing, curious, and playful pup who’s always up for an adventure, whether it's exploring the great outdoors or snuggling on the couch after a fun day.

Ideal Home

Spot would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, hikes, and mental enrichment activities. A backyard for him to run and play in would be ideal. He’s a social butterfly and would do well with a canine sibling who matches his moderate-to-high energy levels, preferably a dog his size or larger (40-90 lbs). He also lives peacefully with cats and enjoys playing with them, so dog-savvy cats would be a great fit.

Training & Support

Spot is housebroken and crate-trained, and can be left to roam freely without issue. He can be a bit of a toy hog, so he's fed separately, but no resource guarding has been observed. On leash, he can get excited and pull when seeing other dogs, and he can be jumpy when meeting new people out of excitement. Continued training, especially with slow introductions and using a gentle leader, will help him master his leash manners and greeting etiquette.

Spot is currently located in the care of our rescue. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
