Violet

Violet is a 1.5-year-old female Brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was found as a stray in Houston, TX. Despite her difficult start, Violet has emerged as a sweet, loyal, and incredibly cuddly companion. She loves to be near her people, will army crawl to reach you, and her tongue is often sticking out in happy anticipation. Violet is a world-class cuddler and is loyal to her core. She is terrified of squeaky toys but absolutely adores playing with a hose and engaging in games of tug. She has shown great progress in adoption events, meeting many new people and dogs with growing confidence.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is committed to continuing her training to help build her confidence. She would also benefit greatly from having another dog friend in the home, as she gains confidence from canine companions. While generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud younger children.

Violet is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows the "sit" command and is making excellent progress with "place" and crate training.
