Meet Wes!

Wes is a friendly, goofy, and energetic husky mix who's ready to find his fur-ever home! Wes is approximately 3-5 years old, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He loves people and will happily sit for pets and belly rubs. He enjoys enthusiastic play with other dogs and adores stuffed toys, balls, and sticks. He also loves walks and will do a happy dance when you show him the leash!

Wes came to us as a stray, thin and covered in fleas, but he's now gaining weight and his coat is filling out beautifully. He currently weighs 42lbs and is expected to reach a healthy weight of around 50-55lbs. When he's not playing, Wes is content to relax near you, enjoying occasional pets. He doesn't show signs of separation anxiety and generally stays out of trouble when left alone. He's even become best friends with the lab next door and they occasionally team up for play.

Ideal Home

Wes needs a loving home with or without other dogs. He would do best in a cat-free household due to his prey drive/interest in cats. An active family that can provide regular exercise, consistent training, and time to settle him in would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Wes is neutered and up-to-date with vaccinations. He is still a little underweight but is gaining nicely.

Training & Support

Wes has limited formal training but is very treat-motivated and learns quickly, already knowing "sit" and "down." He is housetrained but may need time to adjust to a new, stable environment. With a little training, he will be a wonderful walking companion, couch buddy, and explorer.
