Gretel

Playful Gretel is an easygoing pup, seeking a role as a personal assistant. What you see as errands, she sees as adventures- what’s not to love about a car ride?! She has done well in dog-friendly stores, viewing crowds as just a great time to people-watch. Yard work? She loves it- at least the rolling in the grass part. Gretel will find you and everything you do simply fascinating!

Curious and adventurous, Gretel loves to go for walks and stays by your side, tail wagging constantly. This smart girl with the resting happy face knows how to "sit" and takes treats gently. Gretel is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to pack her bags. Can you give this fairy tale character the happy ending she deserves?

Volunteer Perspective: Meal time is great, but Gretel really loves recess. The first time we played chase, she ran right at me and I feared for my knees! I shouldn’t have doubted her intelligence or athleticism because she gracefully zoomed past for another lap. Lacking a playmate, she loves to squeak a toy and can always find the noisemaker and give it a good workout. For a little girl, she has a loud bark. So if you’re looking for a big dog sound in a smaller package, Gretel could be your girl! She is certainly one of my favorites.
