She's a perfect snuggle buddy, with her short, squishy build making her ideal for relaxing on the couch. Toasty is also an excellent companion for adventures, as she recently proved by riding calmly in the car and walking beautifully on a leash during a trail outing. She's patient and affectionate with children, and friendly and respectful with other dogs, preferring to observe or lounge nearby. Toasty would be happy with another calm, relaxed canine companion or as the sole recipient of your love. She's looking for a home to enjoy movie nights, leisurely walks, and sunny afternoons, sharing her affection with her favorite people.
Ideal Home
Toasty would thrive in a home with a backyard, a condo, or even an apartment. She's a calm girl who is content with neighborhood walks. She would do best with another calm, relaxed dog or as an only dog.
Ongoing Health
Toasty is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm prevention. She has been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Toasty is eager to please and loves treats! She already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, is comfortable in her crate, and has great house manners. Her love for treats and eagerness to please will make any additional training enjoyable.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
