Chance

Meet Chance, a 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix with an old soul and a smile that will brighten your day. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter after being abandoned in an apartment. Chance is a gentle, goofy, and incredibly loving companion who is always ready to share his affection.

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a home with a relaxed, predictable routine. He would do well with a semi-active family with older kids who can enjoy his energy without getting knocked over, and another dog his size. Alternatively, he would also be a beloved and cherished only dog, soaking up all the attention. Due to his strong prey drive, cats will not be a good fit for Chance.

Training & Support

Chance is fully house trained and has great house manners. He lets you know when he needs to go out, sleeps through the night, and is comfortable being left alone. While he doesn't like crate doors being closed, he happily naps in open crates or other cozy spots. He enjoys walks and learning new routines. He can be a little stubborn when something catches his attention, like squirrels, but a cookie will quickly bring him back to his manners. His love for treats makes him an excellent candidate for continued training.

Transporation

Chance is currently located with our rescue partners in Houston, TX. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
