Meet Anna, also known as Trixie! This gorgeous 3-year-old female is a beautiful blonde Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix weighing in at a substantial 110lbs. She's a mellow, gentle soul with a heart full of love, and her favorite thing is leaning against her people for affection. Trixie enjoys the simple pleasures: short walks, playtime in the yard, and basking in the sunshine. She's not a dog who needs constant excitement; she's happiest just being near her family, feeling like a part of the home. Trixie is looking for a loving family to give her the companionship she deserves, and in return, she'll offer endless loyalty, gentle affection, and a calming presence.

Ideal Home

Trixie needs a home with a yard where she can run and play. She's looking for a family who will spend time with her and give her the companionship she craves. Due to her size, older children would be best. She would not be a good fit for an apartment. She is not suited for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Trixie is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Trixie is house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn't require a crate. While she is sometimes leash-reactive to people or dogs, she responds well to correction techniques from Bark Busters training. She is sometimes a barker when in the yard, but it's infrequent. She has a food aggression, so owners should be mindful of this. Her recall is not bad, but she should always be walked on a leash and should not be off-leash.
