Fritz is a 7-year-old Shih Tzu mix who is ready to find his forever home! This sweet boy is affectionate and calm, making him a wonderful companion. He's already crate- and pen-trained and gets along well with the other small dogs in his foster home. Fritz can be a little shy at first, but he truly blossoms when he's in a secure routine. He would do beautifully in most homes, including apartments, with a family who will enjoy his cuddly personality and take him on nice walks.

Training & Support
Fritz is crate- and pen-trained. Positive reinforcement training with Wags is required as a condition for all adoptions. Preference will be given to adopters who commit to signing up for and completing our six-week Canine 101 training class in person at our headquarters in Troy, VA. Secondary consideration will be given to a limited number of out-of-area adopters who agree to complete one private lesson with Wags, either in person or virtually, and attend a pre-approved positive reinforcement training class in their area.
