Lasso Hedwig is a bundle of pure joy on long, loose legs! He approaches life with an infectious bounce and a toy in his mouth whenever possible. He firmly believes that every person, every dog, and even a muddy puddle is a potential new best friend. He's a happy, bouncy boy who's estimated to be just shy of a year old and is suspected to be a mix of Great Pyrenees and Labrador Retriever. Lasso is house-trained, crate-trained, wonderful with children, and has settled into home life beautifully. He's a natural at social interactions, greeting new people and dogs with happy curiosity and polite manners. He loves toys and is an excellent sharer during playtime. When he's not zooming around, he enjoys shadowing his people and being included in whatever the family is doing.
Ideal Home
Lasso would love a home with another playful dog, as he genuinely enjoys having a canine buddy. More than anything, he's looking for an active family that appreciates a cheerful companion who is always ready for the next adventure, whether that's a walk, playing with toys, or splashing in water.
Ongoing Health
Lasso is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He also receives a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative and has been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Lasso is house-trained and crate-trained. He's also described as having wonderful manners and is learning to be an excellent family companion.

Lasso is located in the Houston area. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
