Lex is a bouncy, playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, both humans and canines! She knows how to have fun wherever she is. Lex is the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. She's a 56lb bundle of pure happiness, a Pitbull Cattle Dog mix with adorable cattle spotting and cute pointed ears. Lex is full of energy and enjoys playing hard with other dogs, showing a considerate nature and the ability to read vibes. She seems to prefer playing with female dogs but could do well in a home with males or females – just be prepared for a lot of playtime!
Ideal Home
Lex would thrive in a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with the energy levels and enthusiasm of cattle dogs. She is a "wild child" at heart and would bring immense joy to her new family. While she hasn't been kid-tested, given her loving nature, we believe she would adore children, especially older ones who can keep up with her playful energy. A home without cats is a must, as Lex can be too rough with them.

Lex is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations and preventative treatments.
Training & Support
Lex's leash skills need some refinement as she can pull a bit when excited to meet new people. She is a smart dog who would train well with consistent guidance.

Transportation
Lex is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using USDA-certified transport, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
