Happy Taco Tootsday! I’m Pugsley PC, a 1-year-old Lab/German Shepherd mix with a beautiful yellow, white, and cream coat. I'm new to this adoption thing and still learning the ropes, but I'm a quick study! I had a tough start, so I can be a bit timid around loud noises and fast movements. Thankfully, my foster home is showing me that the world isn't so scary when you have a loving family. I absolutely love treats and I'm learning that things can be okay when I have people to tell me so. I'm told I'm the best boy, despite my difficult past! One of my funny quirks is that I seem to think I'm a lap dog, even though I'm a bit bigger than a typical lap dog.

Ideal Home

I'm great with kids and other dogs, but I'm not a good fit for homes with cats. Since I can be scared of fast movements, I need a family with gentle children who will be mindful of my need for calm. I'm not mean, I just get scared and might hide.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm already crate and potty trained! I have some leash experience, but I get very excited to explore and sniff, so I'll need some practice to perfect my leash manners. I'm quiet and eager to please, and with patience and love, I'm confident I'll continue to blossom.
