Willie

Hi there! My name is Willie, and I'm a 2-year-old, 16-pound Terrier Mix with a heart full of love and energy to spare! I'm looking for a super active family to join, especially one with a big, fenced backyard where I can run and play to my heart's content. I'm already house-trained and know how to use a doggy door, and I get along famously with other dogs and even cats! Sometimes I bark at the kitties because I just want them to chase me, which leads to some hilarious zoomies where I run in circles like a little Greyhound. I adore playing fetch with my squeaky toys, but my absolute favorite thing is cuddling up in your lap like a baby and feeling all your love. I'm happy to sleep in a crate at night, but I'd much rather snuggle up in bed with you! Walks are a blast, and I'm a pro at putting on my harness without a fuss. Just a heads-up, I do get really excited about birds and squirrels on our walks and can be quite strong for my size, so hold on tight! Car rides are another favorite of mine.

Ideal Home

I need a very active family with a large, fenced backyard. I can be the only dog or live with other dogs, and I also do well with cats.

I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

I'm working on not jumping up when I get excited to meet people, but I'm a quick learner! I'm an extremely high-energy dog, so be prepared for my zoomies – sometimes I get so excited I run over anything in my path!
