Meet Michael Scott!

This guy is a year old and a Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 12lbs. At first glance, he might seem a bit much, but give him a chance and you'll find a lovable, goofy companion who will keep you laughing. He was surrendered because he was "too hyper," and he's definitely still in his puppy phase. Michael can be a bit much with new people, barking ferociously and even growling at the vet, but he's just a nervous pup who's afraid of being alone. He's done well with other small dogs, who seem to help calm him down. He seems to be a dog who craves attention and wants to be the center of it all. He's up-to-date on shots and has been neutered.

Ideal Home

Michael would likely do best in a home where he can get plenty of attention. He seems to do well with other small dogs.

Ongoing Health

Michael is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Michael has some impulse control issues and can be overly vocal in new situations. He's working on learning to be less offensive and more mindful in public.
