HOWDIE

Howdie is a 2-year-old, 52lb male hound mix with a handsome black and brindle coat. He's a super friendly and playful boy who loves everyone he meets, including dogs of all sizes and cats! Howdie had a tough start in life, being abandoned on the streets, but it hasn't stopped him from being a trusting and loving companion. He's currently doing wonderfully in his foster home and is ready to find his forever family. Howdie enjoys adventures like trips to the dog park and hiking in the woods. He's a fantastic dog with a lot of love to give and would make a great addition to any family.

Ideal Home

Howdie thrives in a home that is both quiet and active. He is good with children of all ages and gets along well with other dogs and cats.

Ongoing Health

Howdie has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations, including rabies. He has also tested negative for heartworm and passed his Idexx 4-1 Kit Test. He receives regular deworming and heartworm preventative on the first day of each month, and his Bravecto treatment is valid until May 1, 2026.

Training & Support

Howdie is making great progress with his leash training and is already crate-trained and doing well with house training. He has no known food aggression with people or other dogs.
