Selena

Selena is a 3-year-old black lab mix with a heart of gold. She was found as a stray near a busy freeway and, thankfully, was ready to accept help and come to safety. Now in a foster home, Selena is proving to be an incredibly special companion who is ready to find her forever family. She's described as the kind of dog people talk about for the rest of their lives – your true soul dog. Selena is gentle, adaptable, and a quick learner, easily settling into home life and making herself comfortable.

Ideal Home

Selena is a go-with-the-flow dog who matches the energy of her surroundings. She would be happy in a home that enjoys both quiet time and gentle activity. She has shown to be a complete natural with kids and is also friendly with dogs and cats.

Ongoing Health

Selena is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is ready for her forever home with no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Selena is remarkably well-trained, being fully potty trained and crate trained. She can also be left to free roam without issue. While she can be timid with strangers at first, she is gentle and warms up quickly with positive interactions. She's a quick study and respects boundaries.

Transporation

Selena is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX, and is eligible for transport to an adopter once one is lined up. Due to border patrol restrictions, you will be required to cross the border and meet in Blaine, WA to receive your pup.
