Maxwell

Maxwell is a resilient 7-year-old boy with a heart full of love and a spirit that has overcome a difficult past. As a puppy, he suffered a leg injury that caused him pain and limited his mobility for years. After extensive efforts, the kindest solution was to amputate the injured leg. The great news is that Maxwell has adapted beautifully to life on three legs! He's moving better, seems more comfortable, and is learning how good life can feel. Maxwell loves attention from his people, playing with toys, going for walks, splashing in water, and lounging on a cozy bed. He is a loyal and loving companion who would do best as the only pet in the home, as other dogs are not his preference. Maxwell is looking for someone to recognize his incredible strength and give him the safe, loving home he truly deserves.

Maxwell's injured leg was amputated due to an old, untreated injury. He has since adapted well to life on three legs and seems to be in less pain.
