MONTY

Meet Monty! This goofy 1-year-old sweetheart from Texas is still learning about the big world and all its wonders. Despite a rough start as a stray, Monty has kept his loving heart and happy-go-lucky attitude. He's a playful boy who is wonderfully sweet with people and gets along well with other dogs. Monty walks nicely on a leash, though he can get a bit unsure when encountering new things. Vet clinics, car rides, and crates might make him a little hesitant at first, but with a little encouragement and perhaps a tasty treat, he's brave enough to tackle anything! Monty is friendly, silly, and eager to please – a big, lovable puppy in a young adult package, ready for his second chance at a loving home.

Monty is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has had a basic medical evaluation.

• You must be a Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont or Maine resident and at least 21 years old.
• All household members must meet our team before an application can be approved.
• If you have current dogs, they will need to complete an on-site meet and greet.
• All current pets in the home must be up-to-date on veterinary care and spayed or neutered.
• Please bring proof of homeownership or landlord approval, and up-to-date veterinary records for any current pets.
