Angie is a gentle soul who thrives on routine and low-key adventures. Think leisurely ambles around the block, a favorite sunny spot for napping, and a predictable daily schedule that keeps her feeling safe and in the know. Angie's also on a weight loss journey, and she'll be your best buddy for those shorter, more mindful walks - she'll keep you moving at her pace, which is just the right speed for winding down. Angie has a beautiful coat that needs regular grooming to stay mat-free.

Ideal Home

Angie would flourish in a calm, predictable space where she can relax without too many surprises. She is best suited for a home with kids 10 and older. She can be touch-sensitive, so older children who understand canine body language will be ideal. She'll need to meet any potential human and canine housemates here at the shelter prior to adoption to make sure everyone gets along well. We're not sure how she feels about cats - with careful, slow introductions (scent swapping and providing vertical exits for the cat) it could work well, but it will take time and patience.

Angie has a beautiful coat that needs regular grooming to stay mat-free. Her future family should be prepared to practice cooperative care. She also does best with fear-free veterinary visits, so a vet who uses low-stress techniques is a must for Angie.
