Robinhood, a 14-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is a confident, playful, and loving puppy with a big personality! He was found abandoned with his nine littermates in Houston, but thankfully, he's now safe and sound in a foster home in Austin, Texas. Despite his small size (currently 4 pounds, but expected to grow!), Robinhood is a brave little guy who loves to wrestle and play with his siblings. When he's not being a playful pup, he's a total snuggle bug, eager to shower his favorite humans with affection. He's a social pup who we believe will do well with children, cats, and other dogs, as long as introductions are gentle and supervised. Because he's so tiny, it's important that any resident pets are also gentle and experienced with very small dogs. Robinhood's breed mix is a mystery, so be prepared for puppy surprises as he grows!
Ideal Home
Robinhood would thrive in a home where someone is present most of the time to help him with socialization and training. Homes where adopters work outside the home for more than four hours will only be considered if there is another adult in the household available to care for him during the day. Any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions should be supervised.
Ongoing Health
Robinhood is a healthy puppy. His breed mix and adult size are unknown.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Robinhood is still learning potty and crate training. He will need a family committed to consistent positive reinforcement training, frequent potty breaks, and patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Robinhood is no exception. He cannot be left alone for long periods of time.
