He's a 7-month-old, 33 lb pittie mix with the sweetest personality and an absolutely adorable, "forever puppy dog" face, soul-wrenching sweet eyes, and perfect floppy ears. He's a rescue, so breed and age are a best guess.
Ideal Home
Onyx would thrive in a home with another dog, as he loves to follow his canine companions around like a little brother. He is also a fan of yards for romping but is equally happy being a couch potato for movie marathons and snuggles. We can test Onyx with children upon request.
Ongoing Health
Onyx is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been heartworm tested. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Onyx is a smart boy eager to please and already knows basic commands like "sit." He is gentle when taking treats and is crate-trained. He is mostly potty-trained but may have occasional accidents if left alone for long hours.

Transporation
Onyx is located in Houston, Texas, and can be transported nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
