Gunner

Gunner is a 2-year-old, male, tricolor Kelpie/German Shepherd mix looking for his forever home! He's a dog's dog, eager to please and loves to be called a good boy. While he can be a bit stressed in the shelter environment, particularly when exiting his kennel, he was well-behaved during his yard time. He showed interest in playing with other dogs, took treats gently, and was happy to follow his human companions.

Gunner is an active breed who will need consistent physical and mental exercise to thrive. This will likely help alleviate his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity.

Gunner is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Gunner knows how to sit and walks well on a leash, though he can pull slightly. He also appears to be potty trained. He can be a vocal "bork monster" when first approached, but this improved with positive reinforcement.
