Poe is a 4-year-old, 60 lb Pittie mix who is a bundle of joy! He's playful, loyal, and affectionate, with a fun-loving and goofy personality that will surely make you laugh and melt your heart. Poe loves to pose for photos and is always up for a mini photoshoot! He's a curious, smart, silly, and affectionate boy who enjoys tug toys, belly rubs, and spending time with his humans. He takes his backyard duties very seriously and performs a full perimeter patrol before settling down. Poe is quiet when meeting strangers, preferring to warm up before showing his true snuggly self. He's a great traveler, navigates stairs well, and is generally an easy and happy companion.
Ideal Home
Poe would thrive in a moderate-to-high activity home that can keep him busy with walks, play sessions, and tasks. He is terrified of thunder, fireworks, and loud buzzing noises, so his adopter should be prepared to comfort him during these times. While he doesn't require another dog, he would enjoy one with a compatible energy level if introduced slowly.

Training & Support
Poe would benefit from continued leash training and learning a few more commands, but he is eager to learn and loves to please his people. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained. Poe is fed in his crate to maintain calm and routine, and he has no guarding issues with people or food.

Transporation
Poe is currently being fostered in Austin, Texas. Transport out of state can be arranged for approved adopters and is included in the adoption donation. Transports run every few weeks, and approved dogs will be placed on the next available transport.
