Richard

Richard is a handsome senior Labrador Retriever mix who is looking for a special adopter to continue his journey. He has lived most of his life isolated and afraid of humans, but in his foster home, he has made incredible progress! Richard has learned to walk on a leash and now allows people he trusts to pet, bathe, and brush him. He is a project for a true dog lover who understands that more progress can be made in the right, patient environment.

Richard would thrive in a calm and patient home that can continue to build his trust. Due to his past, he is not a good fit for homes with children.

Richard is up to date on vaccinations. He is a senior dog, and while no specific health conditions are noted, regular vet check-ups are always recommended.
