Lucia

Lucia is an affectionate, loving Border Collie mix who enjoys lying beside her person and staying close for companionship. She is great with other dogs, clever, and quickly picks up basic commands. Once she trusts you, Lucia forms a wonderfully strong bond.

Ideal Home

Lucia can be cautious around strangers and may pose a bite risk, so introductions should be gentle and thoughtful. She may need four to five visits to fully warm up to someone new, and care should be taken when introducing visitors into the home.

Ongoing Health

Lucia is spayed and vaccinated. Her adopter will receive assistance with veterinary bills during her first year.

Training & Support

Lucia is clever and quickly learns basic commands. Crate training is recommended as a helpful tool during her transition. Free food and veterinary-bill assistance are provided during her first year.
