Susie

Susie is a regal lady who embodies kindness. She is about 4-5 years old and weighs around 60 lbs, but she needs to gain about 10 more pounds. Her breed is unknown, but she is likely a mix of many breeds, possibly with Great Pyrenees. Susie is incredibly gentle and has been excellent with other dogs, showing a non-confrontational nature. While friendly with everyone, she needs to gain confidence as her past may not have been kind. She bonds quickly with those who show her kindness and companionship. Susie will be participating in the Paws in Prison program for 8 weeks to refine her manners, learn basic commands, and build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Susie is heartworm positive and will be treated for it. She is spayed, UTD on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Susie will be working on building her confidence and learning basic commands through the Paws in Prison program. She already displays excellent manners.

Transporation

Susie is located in Arkansas and is available to adopters in Arkansas and New England. Transport is available for New England adopters, who must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays.
