Meet Baby Boy, a handsome German Shepherd Mix weighing in at 93 lbs, with an estimated birthday of January 10, 2024. Don't let his name fool you; Baby Boy is a big, lovable guy with a heart full of loyalty and love. He was found alongside his brother, Big Boy, after being dumped in front of our rescue, each wearing a rope around their neck that was chewed through at the very end. Despite his rough start, Baby Boy has shown us nothing but a gentle, sweet spirit and a loving nature.
Now safe, Baby Boy is ready to find the forever home he's always deserved. He's an active boy who enjoys stretching his legs, exploring, and spending time with his people. He may be a little more easygoing than his brother, but he still thrives in a home that can keep him engaged and give him the exercise he needs. Baby Boy was such a doll at our last adoption event where he met lots of people, dogs, and kids and did wonderfully well with them all, even the smaller pets (hamsters, mice, guinea pigs) in cages at the store! Because he was non-reactive and minimally interested in the rodents, we think he'd do well with cats and other small pets.
Ideal Home
Baby Boy would do best with a family that understands larger breeds and is ready to give him the structure, patience, and love to help him continue to blossom. He will bring utmost joy and sweetness full of love and cuddles to his lucky forever person(s) or family.
Ongoing Health
Baby Boy is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Baby Boy is kennel and potty trained. He is also dog and kid friendly, and likely good with cats.

Transporation
Baby Boy is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee! Pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
