Franck is a sweet and playful 7-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs around 22 lbs. He has a loving personality and enjoys being around people and other dogs. Franck gets along well with everyone and truly thrives on affection, which makes him feel safe and content. Sadly, Franck was found abandoned and suffering from severe mange, which resulted in the loss of part of his tail. Now that he's healthy and full of life, he's ready for a new chapter with a family who will cherish him.
Ideal Home
Franck would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with a genuine commitment to rescue and an understanding of the unique needs of street animals. Experience with dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, is highly recommended for this intelligent pup. Patience is key, especially as he is not yet house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Franck has recovered from mange and is now healthy. He has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He is up-to-date on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Franck is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared for this. He will require patience and understanding as he adjusts to his new home. A family with experience in dog behavior and training, or a commitment to seeking professional training, will help him succeed.
