Daye is a relaxed, loving Boxer mix who enjoys little adventures, leisurely sniff-filled walks, and cozy naps in her foster family’s “bird’s nest.” She loves people, does well in the car, and is happy to be included in family life. Most of the time she is calm and easygoing, with a playful “Gremlin Mode” that appears during tug games.

Ideal Home

Daye enjoys attention without needing to be constantly cuddled. She likes chewing bones, playing with stuffies, lounging beside her people, and taking her time exploring interesting scents. She may jump excitedly when greeting people but settles quickly. She is not especially enthusiastic about swimming or general water activities, though she tolerates baths and enjoys having her nails clipped when held gently.

Ongoing Health

Daye has a history of pancreatitis, so her diet and treats need to be managed carefully. Although she is potty trained, she may occasionally have urinary dribbling or an accident while sleeping.

Training & Support

Daye is potty trained and cooperative for grooming. She is comfortable during fireworks and thunderstorms and enjoys wearing clothing, though pajamas are not her favorite. She may sneak in an occasional lick when you least expect it.
