Vanna

Meet Vanna! She's an approximately 4-year-old, spayed and vaccinated German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her personality. Vanna is a true "velcro dog" who absolutely adores being close to her people, whether you're relaxing on the couch or embarking on an adventure. She’s playful and affectionate, ready to be your loyal shadow.

Ideal Home

Vanna is looking for an active home where she can join in on the fun! She loves a good game of fetch and enjoys car rides, making her the perfect companion for outings. She's happy to roam freely at home as long as she's near her favorite humans. Vanna would do best as the only dog in the home, though she can be playful with very well-matched, larger dogs (around 90 lbs or more) if there are no resources to guard. She's not a fan of smaller dogs and can be reactive on leash, so continued training will be important. Vanna is good with dog-savvy cats! She may do well with older children (12+) who understand how to respect her space and boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Vanna is spayed and vaccinated. She is still working through some trauma-related challenges.

Training & Support

Vanna is working on some resource guarding issues with food, toys, and people. She would benefit from continued support with leash manners and is still polishing up her potty training, with occasional accidents. She is crate trained. With patience, consistency, and understanding, Vanna has tremendous potential to continue growing into her best self.

Vanna is currently located in Texas. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved.
