Denim

Meet Denim! This sweet eight-year-old Boxer/German Shepherd mix is a warm ray of sunshine, ready to bring her affectionate spirit into a loving home. Denim's favorite activity is cuddling and being right by her people's side, enjoying gentle pats and belly rubs. While she's a mature lady, she still has plenty of energy for walks, exploring the neighborhood, and soaking up the sun in the yard. Denim is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has completed formal training and knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, paw, and twirl! She's a motivated learner, especially with tasty treats, and loves dental chew toys and car rides.

Ideal Home

Denim would do well in a home with older, respectful children and pet parents who can continue to provide structure, positive reinforcement, and daily activities. Due to a past incident, Denim needs a home without cats or small dogs. Compatibility with some larger dogs is possible with slow introductions, careful management, and proper supervision.

Ongoing Health

Denim is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Denim is house-trained and crate-trained. She has completed formal training and knows many commands. She is highly food-motivated, which can be a great asset in continued training. Due to her history, she will need a home committed to ongoing guidance and careful introductions to other animals.
