ACHILLES

Achilles is quite the hunk and weighs in at 98 pounds! This handsome 3.5-year-old boy enjoys his toys and playtime at the park. We are told Achilles is dog-friendly.

Ideal Home

A home that can accommodate a large, playful dog and offers plenty of opportunities for him to enjoy his toys and get his energy out at the park.

Ongoing Health

Achilles has a history of a urinary blockage and requires a prescription diet, which he will need to remain on for the foreseeable future. He is also heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by us. He is up to date on vaccines and will be neutered soon.

Training & Support

Achilles is described as friendly and playful. No specific training needs are mentioned, but as with any large dog, consistent positive reinforcement will be beneficial.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoptions are limited to North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and within a +/-6 hour radius of Raleigh, NC.
• The total adoption fee is $400, which includes a non-refundable $25 application fee.

Transporation

Achilles is currently in Georgia and will be heading to North Carolina soon. Transport to approved adopters within our service area can be arranged.
