Duke Ellington is basically what would happen if pure serotonin came to life in dog form! This boy is ALL smiles, all wiggles, all happiness all the time. He wakes up every morning genuinely excited to be alive and makes sure everyone around him feels the same way. Between his goofy bouncy personality, giant happy grin, and the way he throws his whole body into loving people, Duke has this larger-than-life presence that is impossible not to fall for. He is playful, affectionate, hilariously expressive, and just has that lovable goofy-boy energy that keeps you constantly entertained. He feels less like a dog and more like your overly enthusiastic best friend trapped in a pittie body. And yes, his name is Duke Ellington for a reason because this boy fully believes he has a singing career ahead of him and is more than willing to bless you with his dramatic little opera performances whenever the mood strikes! Duke Ellington is believed to be a pittie/boxer mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 50 lbs.
Ideal Home
Duke absolutely LOVES people and thrives on attention and companionship. He would do best in a home where he isn't left alone for super long stretches on a regular basis. Apartment living is likely not the best fit due to his vocal talents. A backyard is definitely important for Duke so he has space to zoom around, play, burn energy, and occasionally perform one of his famous concerts. He needs a semi-active family that wants a dog to truly be part of everyday life and appreciates a BIG personality in the home.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Duke already knows how to sit and is treat motivated, genuinely enjoying learning and engaging with his people. He is crate trained and potty trained.
