Copey

Copey is a sweet, quiet, and timid boy who is just learning what it's like to be loved! His big brown eyes are sure to melt your heart. He's currently in a foster home and is looking for a seasoned family who will enjoy teaching him the joys of being a dog. Copey can be skittish but is never aggressive. He has been great with children, though older kids would likely be the best fit for this gentle soul. He shows a passive interest in other dogs of all sizes and loves to sleep with a favorite toy, though he still needs to discover the fun of playing with them. Copey would greatly benefit from a yard to explore and enjoy. He eats well and is not a picky eater. Copey sleeps in his crate with the door open and has not had any accidents, regularly using a doggy door. He deserves all the love, play, and patience he can get!

Copey is still learning to play with toys and may need gentle encouragement. He is comfortable sleeping in a crate with the door open and is already reliably using a doggy door. He is still learning to be a dog and will need patience and love.
