NICKEY

Meet Nickey! He is a 4-year-old, 6lb Chihuahua who is ready to be your pocket-sized king! Nickey is a little slow to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable and safe with you, he becomes a very loving and loyal companion. He's a sweet and affectionate boy who adores being around his people and is known to be a "stage 4 clinger" – he loves to cuddle and be held! Nickey also gets along well with cats and other small dogs, and enjoys playing with them.

Ideal Home

Nickey would thrive in a home where someone is present more often than not. He needs a patient adopter who can give him the time he needs to feel secure. Due to his small size and preference for calm interactions, Nickey cannot live in an apartment, with large dogs, or with children under 10 years old. He also must have another small dog in the home to keep him company.

Ongoing Health

Nickey is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Nickey is not yet house-trained and will require ongoing training in this area. His adopter will need to be patient as he adjusts to his new environment and learns to trust.
