Meet Skipper!

Skipper is a sweet, affectionate 12-pound bundle of love, born in April 2018. He's on the lookout for a loyal sidekick who will appreciate him for exactly who he is. Once Skipper trusts you, he's happy to shower you with kisses, snuggle up close, or join you on any adventure. He thrives on being by your side, whether you're out for a walk or relaxing at home. Skipper gets along well with other dogs, but he does need a little time to warm up to new people.

Ideal Home

Skipper would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can understand and honor his need for space as he builds trust.

Ongoing Health

Skipper's adoption donation of $100 includes his vaccines, neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Skipper has significant resource guarding behaviors. He'll need a family committed to managing this appropriately and following training guidance to help him succeed. To set both Skipper and his adopters up for success, free lifetime training is included with his adoption.
