Emmy

Emmy is a 9-month-old Jack Russell mix with a birthday of 11/22/2024. She's a silly, goofy girl who absolutely loves to snuggle and be near her person. Emmy is eager to please and picks up on things quickly. She walks well on a leash and isn't bothered by people running, walking, or biking by. She knows basic commands like "sit" and "down," and she's even getting good at "leave it." Emmy is also learning to respect boundaries, as she no longer jumps baby gates!

Ideal Home

Emmy would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog. While she enjoys doggy daycare and playing with other dogs there, she prefers to be the sole canine companion at home.

Ongoing Health

Emmy is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. She is in great physical health with no known issues.

Training & Support

Emmy does experience separation anxiety, but she has been making great progress. She's also becoming more comfortable with crate training and can now go into her crate for short periods without fear. Emmy can be wary of strangers, especially men or those wearing sunglasses, and may bark initially, but she is never aggressive and warms up once she gets to know them.
