Hi there! I’m Ruby! Currently in a foster home in the northeast!

I’m a 3-year-old, 50-pound bundle of love who was rescued from euthanasia down in Georgia. I still can’t believe how lucky I am to be here in Maine — now all I need is my forever family!

I’m crate trained and house trained, and I promise to keep your floors clean! I love kids, but I’m still young and bouncy, so tiny ones might find me a little too enthusiastic sometimes. I’m awesome in the car and love adventures! I walk beautifully on a front-pull harness and I’m learning recall quickly, especially if treats are involved! At first, I might be a bit nervous when I meet someone new… but once I know you’re kind, I’ll melt right into your lap or at least lean in for cuddles. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and playful girl to join your family, I’d love to meet you. My story almost ended too soon — but thanks to kind humans, I got a second chance. Ideal Home

Ruby loves kids, but due to her young and bouncy nature, she might be a little too enthusiastic for very small children.

Ruby is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Ruby is crate trained, house trained, and walks beautifully on a front-pull harness. She is learning recall quickly, especially with treats. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people initially, but warms up to become affectionate and cuddly.
