Iggy

Iggy is a fun, outgoing, and energetic 3-year-old, 23 lb guy! His current foster family loves him for his Boston Terrier spirit, his zest for life, and his wonderful personality. Iggy gets along famously with adults, children, and other dogs, both those he lives with and new friends he meets. He's a playful pup who enjoys squeaky toys, tug-of-war, and wrestling with his canine companions. Iggy is a calm and well-behaved car rider when crated and has proven himself to be a good boy when left in his crate for up to six hours. He walks nicely on a loose leash, though he may pull occasionally and could benefit from some leash-training reinforcement. Iggy is already house-trained and hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. He loves his walks and yard time, and after 2-4 hours of exercise a day, he's ready for some snuggles on the lap. Iggy has been tolerant and playful with cats and smaller animals, respecting corrections when given. He's been described as a perfect houseguest, and this goofy, smart, sweet boy is ready to bring his comedy routine and endless love to his new family. We don't know much about Iggy's past, but we know he's a special, all-around great dog!

Ideal Home

Iggy is an active guy who thrives with 2-4 hours of exercise per day, including walks and yard time. After his adventures, he loves to snuggle.

Ongoing Health

Iggy has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Iggy walks well on a loose leash but may pull at times, so some reinforcement in this area would be beneficial. He is already house-trained.
