Nuggie is a handsome 1-year-old Golden Retriever with a lot of love to give, but he's looking for a very specific kind of home. He's been a perfect gentleman at the kennel, getting along wonderfully with volunteers and other dogs. Nuggie is treat-motivated and knows basic commands, and he's eager to continue learning. He's also house-trained and crate-trained, and he'd love a securely fenced yard to play in. Nuggie is looking for a home that understands his needs and is committed to his ongoing training and development.

Ideal Home

Nuggie thrives in an adult-only household with no visiting children or grandchildren. He needs an experienced dog owner who can provide consistent structure, exercise, and direction.

Nuggie is a young, healthy boy.

Training & Support

Nuggie has shown some resource-guarding tendencies in the past, and while he's made great progress and no longer guards his food, he is still in the working stages. He needs a committed owner who will continue his positive training and provide a stable environment. GRRAND is willing to invest in a professional board-and-train program for Nuggie once a suitable home is secured.
