Meet Angus, a charming 1 and 1/2 year old with a distinctive low-rider build, complete with adorable little legs and a long body. His face is pure delight, featuring charming white "sock" paws, soulful brown eyes, and a pair of perfectly mismatched ears – one standing tall, the other playfully flopped. Angus may be small in stature, but his heart is overflowing with quiet devotion.
He can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, but this shyness is part of what makes his eventual trust so rewarding. Once he bonds with you, he becomes an incredibly loyal companion, always happy to snuggle close and remind you just how loved you are.
Angus's absolute favorite time of day is walk time! The mere sight of his leash sends him into adorable happy circles, full of anticipation for his next adventure. He's a wonderful walking buddy, always staying close with excellent leash manners, whether exploring the neighborhood, hitting a nature trail, or simply enjoying the world one sniff at a time.
Back home, Angus appreciates life's simple pleasures: a comfy bed, a tasty treat, a few cuddles, and a peaceful spot to relax. He's very treat-motivated and eager to learn, and would love a family that enjoys continuing his training and spending quality time together.
Angus currently fosters with other dogs and gets along wonderfully with them. He's more of a laid-back observer, happy to join in the fun when he feels like it but equally content to relax nearby. We haven't tested Angus with cats yet, but we're happy to do so if your home has a feline friend. He also hasn't met children, but given his initial shyness, he would likely do best with older, respectful children who understand that building trust takes patience.
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced yard would be Angus's dream, offering him the space to explore, sniff new scents, and stretch his legs. He enjoys relaxing indoors with his family but would be happiest in a home where daily adventures are a part of life.
