She adores being close to her humans, leans in for affection, and will happily soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Jade is currently fostered in a lively home with six other dogs and two cats, and she fits right into the pack. She absolutely loves other animals and draws a lot of her confidence from being around them. In fact, she would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog who can help guide her, keep her company, and be her playmate. She truly lights up when she has a canine friend nearby – it helps her feel grounded and happy. With cats, Jade is respectful and gentle. She's curious and interested in interacting, so she would do best with a dog-savvy cat who can confidently set boundaries. When they do, she listens and adjusts well. She just really wants to be part of the group and share space and energy with everyone around her. Jade would do best in a home with a yard where she can safely stretch her legs, run, play, and burn off some of that natural energy throughout the day. While walks and outings are wonderful, having a secure outdoor space will really help set her up for success and give her the freedom she needs to thrive. Jade is also believed to be a wonderful candidate for a family environment, including homes with children, as she has such a gentle, affectionate, and social nature. You can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters.
