This handsome shepherd mix is Bojangles! He's a 14-month-old bundle of energy and affection, rescued from a high-kill shelter just in the nick of time. Bojangles is all heart, with long legs ready for adventure and a snuggler's soul. He's neutered, fully vetted, house-trained, and eager to find his forever family. He's a curious, clever, and athletic pup who loves to play, whether it's chasing toys, solving puzzles, or wrestling with his buddies. Bojangles is also a fantastic watch dog, alerting you to everything with his verbal "conversations" when he's happy.
Ideal Home
Bojangles would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and burn off his medium to high energy. He would prefer a home with another dog to play with, as he truly loves canine companionship. He needs a home where he isn't crated for long periods or where someone is home more often than not. An apartment is not suitable for Bojangles.

Training & Support
Bojangles is house-trained and will communicate when he needs to go out. He is crate trained and loves his crate when the door is left open, but he freaks out when left alone in it with the door closed. He can be destructive if bored, so he needs plenty of engaging toys and puzzle feeders to keep his clever mind occupied. He is learning the ropes with his kennel, and will do best with a family that can provide structure and plenty of playtime.
