Meet Polly, a delightful 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix who embodies the spirit of a perpetual puppy with the sweetest disposition. She's spayed, vaccinated, and fully up-to-date on all preventatives, making her ready to embark on her journey to a loving forever home. Polly possesses a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and thrives on being involved in her people's activities.
Ideal Home
Polly loves to play with toys and enjoys the company of other dogs. She's also done well with children aged 6 and up. While we have no history with cats, she's a versatile companion. She is a low-energy dog who is just as happy to relax and cuddle as she is to play. Polly is affectionate, snuggly, and loves to be close to her people. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe.
Ongoing Health
Polly is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on all preventatives.
Training & Support
Polly is house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she is easy to manage as she continues to learn. Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the ropes of home life and will need a patient adopter who can provide consistent guidance. She should be crated when unsupervised, as she can sometimes get into things if left loose. With consistency and routine, she will continue to blossom.
