Mavis

Mavis is a sweet girl who was born around February 2024. She had a loving home with an elderly woman in a remote farmhouse, but when her owner was evicted, Mavis found herself in need of a new beginning. Despite the changes, Mavis has remained a gentle and friendly companion. She thrives on attention, enjoys being close to her people, and her soft, sweet personality truly shines once she feels secure. Initially, she can be a bit reserved around unfamiliar dogs, which means she could be a wonderful only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. If you have another dog, slow and thoughtful introductions with experienced guidance would be key. Mavis has been doing great with leash walking and crate training, showing her adaptability and willingness to learn. She just needs a patient adopter and a calm environment to help her blossom into the loyal, loving companion she's meant to be. Ideal Home

Mavis would do well as an only dog or could live with another dog if introductions are slow and guided by someone experienced. She needs a calm environment to help her feel secure. All dogs and puppies require visible fencing.

Ongoing Health

Mavis's adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Mavis is learning leash walking and crate training and is doing well with both. She may need a little patience as she adjusts to new situations.
