Spice

Meet Spice, a lovely female Weimaraner Vizsla mix puppy with the striking light eyes characteristic of a Weimaraner. Her mom, Kelly, is a large Vizsla mix who was rescued from the Bakersfield County Animal Shelter. Spice inherited her mom's beautiful reddish-brown coat, combined with the build and captivating light-colored eyes of a Weimaraner. She's friendly with people and other dogs, though she can be a bit shy when meeting new people for the first time. Spice is already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she's eagerly awaiting her perfect family to begin her new life.

Ideal Home

Spice will grow into a large-sized dog and requires ample daily exercise. Experienced dog owners would be ideal. If no one is home during the day, it's preferred that Spice has another dog or two for companionship. Given that Vizslas and Weimaraners are active hunting breeds, especially as youngsters, older children who are experienced with high-energy dogs would be the best fit. Spice should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals.

Ongoing Health

Spice is up-to-date on vaccinations, is spayed, and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Spice can be shy meeting new people. Guidance on positive reinforcement and patience will help her build confidence.

Spice is located in Southern California. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
