Meet Minnie!

Minnie is a sweet 5-year-old, 12–14 lb black-and-tan Poodle with a playful personality and a heart full of potential. She loves crackly toys, entertains herself with adorable zoomies, and will keep you smiling with her silly antics. Minnie has lived successfully with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion, though she also enjoys simply being near her people. She is crate trained and has moderate energy, making her a wonderful companion for a calm home that can provide structure and patience.

Ideal Home

Minnie is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely exercise, play, and build confidence, as leash walks are very stressful for her. Due to her sensitive nature, she needs an adult-only home or one with older teens and is not a good fit for homes with young children. A calm and predictable environment with plenty of toys for playtime and zoomies would be ideal.

Minnie is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Minnie is still learning important life skills, including house training and walking on a leash. Her ideal adopter will understand that earning her trust is a journey and will celebrate the small victories along the way using gentle, positive reinforcement. Patience and a commitment to continuing her training and building her confidence are essential.
