Babe Ruth

Meet Babe Ruth! This handsome three-year-old, 98-pound Boxer and American Bulldog mix is ready to hit a home run with his forever family! Babe Ruth was rescued from the BARC daily kill list in April 2025 and has been thriving in his foster home ever since. He's fully potty trained, crate trained, neutered, chipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives. Babe is a master of cuddles, often forgetting his own large size as he seeks out hugs and affection. He's a well-behaved, indoor dog who loves to play and is a joy with new visitors.

Ideal Home

Babe Ruth would be a great addition to many homes, especially those that can accommodate a large dog. He loves people and is great with children. While he enjoys the company of his three canine siblings and a canine sister in his foster home, he would likely do best as a single dog or with female dogs, as he tends to be an alpha male with other male dogs.

Ongoing Health

Babe Ruth is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm/flea prevention.

Training & Support

Babe Ruth is a very well-behaved boy who is trusted to roam freely in his foster home during the day without causing any trouble. He sleeps soundly through the night in his kennel.
