Macaroni--In Foster

Howdy! My name is Macaroni. I'm smart, cordial, and snuggly, and I LOVE the outdoors! It might sound cheesy , but I'm looking for someone to craft (Kraft?!) a wonderful life with.

Before I came to Homeward, I lived on a farm and spent a lot of time outdoors, and my passion for being outside is easy to see. I absolutely love going on walks, and when we get home, I trot through the house to stand at the back door, ready to go outside again! I've lived a few years and gotten to know my preferences, and for me, lots of outdoor time is a must!

When I'm not outside enjoying the breeze and the trees, my favorite thing to do is be close to my people. I follow my foster mom around the house as she does laundry, and I sit loyally by my foster dad's side as he loads the dishwasher. I love chin scratches and tummy rubs, and I've been known to be a lap dog... even though I'm over eighty pounds! You might think you're done petting me after a moment or two, but I'll help nuzzle your hand back into position for a few extra pets.

Now, I don't like to brag, but I've been told that my manners are impeccable. I am perfectly polite when interacting with the two adult cats that live in my foster home, happy to let them rule the house. I'm pretty good on a leash, though excited by bunnies and squirrels, and I listen well to redirection. Seeing other cats and dogs doesn't phase me; I just give them a glance and move along- I've got more of the outdoors to explore!
