Small Paul

Small Paul is a charming under-20lb Rat Terrier mix who was found running the streets but has since discovered the joys of backyard patrols and sofa snuggles with his foster family. He's a smart boy who is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and fully house-trained and crate-trained. While Small Paul can be a bit shy and cautious initially, his patience is rewarded with enthusiastic tail wags and affectionate cuddles. He prefers to approach new people on his own terms, often observing quietly from a distance until he feels comfortable. His favorite pastimes include exploring the backyard for any unwelcome critters, engaging in lively games of tug-of-war, and enjoying neighborhood walks. He's also highly treat-motivated, making him eager to learn new tricks.

Ideal Home

Small Paul would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard, and a doggie door would be a bonus! He's best suited for a quiet environment with a retired couple or individual who is home often. He's not a fan of cats and would do best in a home without young children.

Small Paul is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

He is house-trained and crate-trained. He's very treat-motivated and would love to learn new tricks. We recommend reading up on the Rat Terrier breed to understand his energy and potential traits.
