Rocco

Rocco is a sweet, fun, and energetic 2-year-old Hound mix who loves to explore the world through his nose! He enjoys long walks, sniffing the air, and car rides with the windows down. While he can be a little reserved at first, he quickly warms up and becomes a very engaged and loving companion. Rocco gets along well with other dogs and has shown that he is curious about cats but knows to be respectful. He is also drawn to older children and has been a good sport with the cats in his foster home. When it's time to relax, he loves to cuddle up close. Rocco doesn't bark often, but he does have a signature hound yodel when he wants to communicate. He's also discovered a love for chew toys and stuffed animals!

Ideal Home

Rocco would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit. A home with another dog would be wonderful for him, and he has shown he can be well-behaved around cats. He seems to do particularly well with older children.

Ongoing Health

Rocco is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and has tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Rocco is house-trained and has learned to love his chew toys. He may benefit from continued positive reinforcement to help him settle in and continue building confidence.
